It is important to note that the mechanisms below are based on preliminary research and may not be conclusive. Further studies are necessary to fully understand the physiological pathways of Chaga and its effects on the human body.
Antioxidant activity: Chaga contains high levels of antioxidants that can interact with free radicals in the body, potentially influencing oxidative stress (Cui et al., 2005).
Inflammatory response: Chaga's bioactive compounds, including triterpenes, may have an effect on the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and other mediators (Najafzadeh et al., 2007).
Immune system interaction: Chaga's polysaccharides have been found to modulate the immune system in some studies (Géry et al., 2018).
"Perfect for individuals who prioritise a healthy immune system."
The exact physiological pathways through which Chaga interacts with the human body are not fully understood, as research on this fungus is still limited. However, studies have shown that various bioactive compounds found in Chaga, such as polysaccharides, triterpenes, and phenolic compounds, may be responsible for its potential properties.
